Try this yummy smoothie: 1 cup almond milk (I use unsweetened vanilla), 1/2 cup orange juice (or 1 whole orange, peeled), 1 date (pitted), 1 tbsp. whole flaxseed, 1 tbsp. carob powder, 1 tbsp. almond butter (unsalted), 1 frozen banana, 1 scoop protein powder (I use vanilla whey), 1 cup ice.
