My mother lives in the same house I grew up in. When I was young young... I would sit with my brother on his bed and watch the shadow people cruise around from the corners of our eyes, we would twist around wildly both of us tryin to catch a full on look of the same people just running around us in the living room. You would see them walk into your peripheral, just stand there, as soon as you turn they would disappear. I woke up on occasion to rattling of the silver ware drawer, I was 9, terrified, walked into the kitchen where I saw the shape of what I now call "Spike" spike was a 7 foot tall shadow creature who was hunched over the silverware drawer, looked up at me. These beings are faceless... he just had spikes coming from his back that made him resemble a porcupine... I was terrified and ran and hid in my covers. My brother later told me about the crown man he sees in the basement with red eyes. this man was also very tall and had the shape of a crown on his head... the only one whos eyes we could see. crown man would stand in the basement corner and spike would hang out with the silverware... and the others would skip around in the peripheral corners of our eyes. My brother moved out, and I was 16-17 home alone middle of the day in summer. upside down blow dryin my hair looking between my legs into the hallway from our bathroom, and a pair of legs walked by. I jumped and screamed. No one was supposed to be home but me! I turned off the blowdryer and followed the legs... the only place they could have gone was into my bedroom from that point of the hall... and there was nothing there. No one to be found. Then I thought I was just being crazy and went back in the bathroom. Well my cat had a hacky sack we played with him, and something took his hacky sack off the bookshelf and hucked it into my bedroom door, very very hard. And my cat didnt chase it, he went and hid. SO I got cheesed and left my hous running ha ha. In The following months my mother would talk in the middle of the night yelling "who are you?! get out of here! you dont belong in here! get away from me!" and I would get scared and say mom mom whats wrong whos there, and she would talk in the strangest voice "what oh Im sorry darling there was a dark man standing over my bed, I was just dreaming go back to bed" this happened several different times and when I would ask her about it she would admit that she wasnt sure if she was awake or dreaming and that she had felt him breathing on her.
I moved out about 7 years ago. She still lives there. She says she hears growling coming from her fireplace. She doesnt believe in ghosts at all. Well I do, cause they live in her house where I grew up. I am not In denial like she is. My mother is very depressed. She is a a shut in. She doesnt have any friends... Honestly her life has gone no where but down hill since my dad moved her into that house 25 years ago. I am positive if she got out of that house she would feel better. I feel that the spirits will not let her her be happy or healthy or have friends... I just wish she would be normal... her yard is dead, the rain gutters hang off. my brother has done countless hours of house work for her and she just lets the house fall apart, she wont water her lawn, and it needs a new roof and a good vacuuming... she doesnt clean her bathroom, theres dead bugs all over the basement. I dont see why she insists on staying there. With her condition it would make all the sense in the world to move into a small apartment where she wouldnt have yard work to do and a much smaller space to keep clean, but she says she can not leave the house...View Thread
