Ok thank you thats good to know! What is the difference between femara and clomid? Did you use ovulation tests or check your temps? Im just wondering, since I seem to be ovulating...Im wondering if I really am. Thanks for the tip on shopping around for the cheapest injections. I wouldn't have ever thought there to be much of a difference. That would really help. I called the doctor today, but I was at work when they called back and missed their call. Hopefully when i call them in the morning they will say they are letting me use the clomid. Thanks for your help!View Thread

Hi everyone! I have been TTC for 3 1/2 years now. I have kind of given up and havent' got on any of these boards much in the last couple years. I have went to the infertilty doctor. My hsg came back normal. Along with my fsh, lh, and thyroid. My husbands sperm is normal. So, so far Im unexplained infertility. My insurance does not cover infertility, which has kept me delayed from progressing to the next step. Next would be injections, (which will cost 2k a cycle) I want to try taking clomid again. Do you think that could help? its much less $$ and I have only taken 50 mg for 3 months before. Do you have any tips for getting pregnant, since they haven't found anything? Would my doctor let me try clomid again, before doing 2k a cycle? also, do you think it would be worthwhile to go ahead and go with the INVITRO instead of messing with injections? I think the chances with invitro are better than taking injectable medications. Please help, Im tired of this

oh hun, this post makes me tear up just reading it. It can be very hard sometimes. I feel just like you right now. I have been ttc for 3 years. I just found out my best friend and my sister, cousin and my old friend are all pregnant. This guy at work just had a baby last week after trying for 7 years! do not give up. There are many different things that can help us get pregnant. The guy at work, it took their 2nd round of invitro to get their baby girl. My best friend it just "happened" to her too. I want to go see her and see her baby bump, but I am REALLY scared im going to start crying while Im there. I try to act like everything is ok, but its not. I try to be strong, but Im not sometimes. On top of those people i know that are pregnant there are few more people that are pregnant that are living off welfare right now. And not because of any disability or anything, not because they can't find a job, because they don't want to work, because it will take away from their food stamps. And then there are people like you and me who try to do everything right and still get smacked down. Its definantly a struggle, but the way i get through, is i feel like god really has his eye out for me. Like he is preparing me to be completely ready for this child. So, that is what keeps me going. Don't ever feel like you are a failure as a wife. Just keep giving it your all! *hugs*
OH and just a little more, my old friend that i said was pregnant took 5 years to concieve her first baby. She did a bunch of rounds of clomid...the last round she did she feel pregnant. She wasn't going to do another round because she just couldn't handle it anymore. SHe had a little girl first and now she is now naturally pregnant with twins. So like i said don't give up!View Thread

I know how it feels. My husband and I have been TTC for just over 3 years. It has been really hard lately because i found my best friend who wasn't even trying is pregnant. Although I am very happy for her...it is still really difficult to be around for all the baby stuff. I just want to cry right now thinking about it. I am just starting some things with my Inferitility doctor. He is AMAZING...i love, love this doctor. I did my HSG test and everything came back normal. My LH, FSH, and thyroid are all normal. My husbands sperm is normal. I don't know what to do. I am waiting to finish paying for my HSG then I will be going back to see whats next. I haven't started the IUI yet. I figure that would be next along with clomid. I did one round of clomid already but it didn't do much, I think i already ovulate anyways. Sorry i can't answer your question, but i just want you to know you are not alone. Good luck and keep your head up!View Thread

Hi everyone. I haven't been on in such a long time. I am now at 21 months of ttc and am getting really frustrated. I am on my last cycle of clomid before my doctor is going to refer me to a fertility specialist. Any ideas on whats in store next? The only test i have had done is a fsh, lh and thyroid test which all came back good. And my husband had his semen analysis which also came back normal. I just feel like its never going to happen.View Thread
