Hi Megan, sorry I haven't been around to see this for the past few days!
Yes, I use c b and I really like it. It's definitely effective for me in lowering stress, and I have to say after the first month using it I felt and could imagine for the first time in years that my body was healthy and working properly. Then the second month I used it I actually got pregnant (but unfortunately miscarried). Whether it was thanks to c b or the 3 months of acupuncture and TCM I'd done, or both, I don't know. But I have a strong feeling it helped!
I would totally recommend c b. The programs can be a little strange, a tad on the cheesey side, but nothing really weird. And it was really only the first month that I thought some of the visualizations were a little odd, now I just go with the flow
Let me know if you have any other questions, I am happy to help. And I'll make sure to check back in case you do

Oh lord, if only I could get my cat to sit still long enough to take a decent picture of him! All my photos of him are while he's sleeping or lounging. And God help me if I try to put anything on him. I put a ribbon around his neck at Easter and he FLIPPED. LOL
But, I will try!!
I'm totally jealous, Vicky, that you can put a hat on your cats!
My kitty is white with a black toupee, black tail, and black spot on his side. We just celebrated his 5th birthday on Sept 23.View Thread

I'm so sorry, I know how frustrating it is to be trying for so long with nothing but negative results! And meanwhile everyone around you gets knocked up at the drop of a hat (or a drop of their undies, haha).
Have you been to a fertility specialist? Your doctors should really be doing more about that bleeding problem! I've heard that they do D&C's for heavy bleeding, I wonder if that might be an option for continual bleeding? At any rate, I would DEFINITELY insist on a referral to a specialist for that, or at the very least get a second opinion from another gyno.
Have you had any fertility testing at all so far?View Thread

Does this happen every time you DTD? I am wondering - isn't your cervix slightly more open around ovulation than during other times of the month? Is it possible that it's only happening during the times when you're not ovulating, when the cervix isn't as soft/open? Just a thought, I could be way off!
I always have some "leakage" even when I keep my legs in the air, and as soon as I get up most of it comes out. I'm pretty sure I've read that for the most part it's just the seminal fluid leaking out, and the sperm themselves keep swimming upward.View Thread

Today is CD15 - yep that's right, the miscarriage is officially over (just have to have one last blood test this week), I had a visit from AF, and I'm already halfway through my first real cycle! Hubs and I have been TTC, but I'm not putting any pressure on us this C; it can be a practice run
Now I'm getting ready for a nice long 4 day weekend with the hubster. We're going up north for some wine tasting and visiting with friends.
Alb - those numbers sound great, wishing you all the best!!
Vicky - I'm hoping for an early O for you! Fingers crossed!
Tonya - I hope you feel better soon, good luck this C and enjoy your new classes!View Thread

Hi smurfette
I'm sorry it's taking so long, and it's too bad we have to meet like this, but welcome!
For your first visit, I would bring your BBT chart with you. It should be fairly straightforward - there seems to be a pretty standard procedure for initial fertility testing. Your doctor will probably send you for blood work to test your hormone levels. I went for blood work twice - on CD3 and CD20. My doctor also sent me for a pelvic ultrasound to check the general structure of my ovaries and uterus, and sent my DH for a semen analysis.
Be prepared to talk about your cycle - length, duration and heaviness of bleeding, etc. And be prepared with any questions or concerns or anything you've noticed about your body or your cycle.
Are you seeing your regular gyn or are you going to a specialist? If it's your gyn, they may also want to refer you to a specialist.
That's about all I can think of, I'm sure some other ladies will have additional input for you. Try not to worry too much, you are doing a very good thing for yourself and your chances of conceiving sooner

I just wanted to throw in that my one experience with Clomid made my period 4 or 5 days late, when I am normally like clockwork. Another evil little trick infertility plays on us poor saps, huh?
