I feel like I could have posted this! This is exactly what my fiance and I are going through. I am sneaking up on 28 and I am terrified that I have waited too long to have a baby. I have always lived a healthy lifestyle but I kicked it up a notch when I decided to try to get pregnant. I even started taking pre-natal vitamins just to be as ready as possible when I do conceive! Haha
We started with the ovulation tests and moved on to just having sex every day just to be sure. My periods started coming a day or two earlier and they have ALWAYS been right on schedule my whole life. They have progressively become worse and more painful each month and I thought it was in my head until I read your post! I cant go to the Dr either without paying out of pocket so I am waiting until I absolutely have no other choice to try that. I am on month 7 of trying EVERYTHING possible (you know caffeine 30 minutes before, pillow under my butt, every old wives tale in history
And I can't understand how it is so easy for everyone else to get pregnant! Anyway reading your post made me feel not so alone, since ALL of my friends, sisters, and frenemies are pregnant or having babies
I have a close relationship with God and I am not one to push that on anyone, but the only thing that keeps me from crying everytime my period comes is knowing that when God wants me to conceive, it will happen. I hope to hear that you are successful soon as I know trying so hard can be frustrating and depressing. If my prayers offend you then I will keep them to myself, but if not then they are there! Good luck to you, and I would LOVE to hear how it turns out for you, if you get pregnant soon I think it would give me hope!!-CaraView Thread

Before we started trying my period was very regular, then it shifted a day or two, but this month it was 7 days late and I told my hubby I was going to wait to take a test till this morning and what do you know, my period started.
Starting last month, I have HORRIBLE cramps during my period. I am already depressed because I know I am not pregnant and then I feel like I am being tortured by it. I really hope I am not having a chemical pregnancy because then I will know all this pain is my unborn child dying
I have pregnancy symptoms each month and then pain. Please helpView Thread

I also think charting your basal body temperature (check out FertilityFriend.com) will help you figure out whether you're actually ovulating as well as provide insight to your overall health (which can impact your fertility). You should also use ovulation kits to predict ovulation (usually Answer Brand Daily strips are the cheapest and easiest way to go- Walmart sells them at about $20 for 20 strips). These will give you a 24-48 hour heads up that ovulation is near so you will know when to have sex. Charting will confirm that ovulation has occurred. It's possible to get a positive ovulation strip and not actually ovulate (mostly common in people with PCOS or instances of delayed ovulation). Good luck! I know it's been a month or so since you posted, but I hope the information reaches you and helps if even a little.

I had my Mirena removed Feb 14, 2011 and got pregnant while preventing in July 2011 only to lose it right away at 4w3d (found out 3 days before AF was due). We decided to TTC in November... Had another very early miscarriage April 9, 2012 so now we're moving onto cycle 7 of ATTC (bbt charting, opks, the works). So glad that you finally got your bfp after 11 cycles!! Congrats again!

It hurts to know that all you ladies are having the same issues I have been having also. It does help to read all your comments about how easy you thought it would be to become pregnant, when I as well thought it would be a piece of cake. I stopped taking BC in September and have since been trying. I didn't have a visit from AF during January or February and got real excited and took a PT, obviously coming back neg. I went to the gyn and he did some blood work thinking it was a thyroid issue, that came back neg as well. He started me on Provera and gave us 3 months to conceive. I'm hoping by June we will have a positive outcome. If not it's on to more test. Good luck girls! Baby dust to all!View Thread

My condolences for your miscarriage. The other possibility is that some ovulation tests double as pregnancy tests and you may be detecting HCG. Please dont let this info get your hopes I would suggest calling your ob, advising them of your ttc and talk to them about the OPK results. Best of luck!View Thread
I am new to this community and need a little advice. My husband and I are on month ten in trying for a baby. I'm sure like all of you we have tried every different position, counting days, ovulation tests, laying on my back for 10,15,20 minutes after sex, putting a pillow under me as I'm laying---pretty much every little trick you could think of.
I am also on month number 2 with using Clomid and I bought the $65 digital ovulation test this month so we are watching things very closely... I am currently on day 20 of my cycle and according to the ovulation test I haven't ovulated yet. Is this possible?? Before this month I was using the strips that show an extra line when ovulating and it wasn't very clear/easy to read so I never knew when I was ovulating or not.
Is it possible that I am just not ovulating yet? I've heard that most people ovulate between 15 and 18 days...View Thread
Thank you for your kind words. I was upset and needed to vent somewhere so I appreciate the support. We've got two more weeks before we are in the clear. As far as stressing, yeah, freaking out won't change outcomes. You just never know! To both, good luck conceiving. I guess to all of us....things happen for a reason!View Thread

I was 6 days late for my period and then had really bad cramps. I started to bleed a little bit not enough to fill a pad for about a day and a half and now nothing but a little spotting when I wipe.My breasts have been really sore for 2 weeks. Could I be pregnant? We have been trying for around 7 monthsView Thread
I did see something about using it to time harvesting eggs for IVF, but that wouldn't apply to you.View Thread
