Perry - I hope your appointment went well yesterday. And I would love it if AF decided to disappear for a while!
B - I love your positivity! I need that since I've been feeling sorry for myself the last few days. I need to get out of this funk!
Ani - My AF and pregnancy signs are always really similar. The only difference this time around was that I noticed some major mood swings last week, which convinced me that AF was coming. But here I am at the end of CD31, 14-16dpo and no AF yet. This is TMI, but I thought I started a few times yesterday and today, only to run to the bathroom and find just a lot of discharge. So of course I decided to google it just now, since this much isn't normal for me. And guess what? It could be a sign of early pregnancy, but also could be a sign of AF. So that didn't help! I decided last week that if AF didn't show by the 14th I would test the next morning. Still not getting my hopes up though.View Thread
My update - CD28, AF should show in the next few days. I'm sure she will show because I have all of my usual signs. I'm going to just try to forget about it this month and focus on other things. I'm job hunting, have 4 months left to finish my degree, DS is having a birthday next month, and I need to get back into a workout routine. We'll keep trying but it's just so stressful with the constant waiting, hoping, being disappointed, then more waiting and more hoping. Ugh. I'm probably just moody because of impending AF. Don't mind me! lol
Oh Pray, I'm so sorry. It really does seem like you just can't catch a break. Feeling hopeless really sucks. I think if you talked to DH, when you're feeling up to it, he would understand why you don't feel like going away. I'm not sure how it works with your schedules, but maybe you can just reschedule for sometime soon? I know how hard it can be to get away when you're both working. DH and I were together for 3 years before we ever took a vacation, and even then we could only do 3 days.
I feel angry for you about the ovulation signs...ugh! What the heck, mother nature?! Why are you torturing this poor woman?
I know how frustrating it was for me to have one 'off' cycle, and AF was horrible after that. I'm sorry you have to deal with that all the time. ((hugs)) I really hope your day gets better. In the meantime, don't worry about venting. It's what we're here for.View Thread
Pray - I hope you can get back to the RE soon. Being busy can be good, but it makes it difficult to schedule these things.
Ani - Sorry about surprise AF. Hopefully your cycles get back to normal!
B - Good luck and baby dust!
Becky - That is awesome! I like to hear good things, so thanks for the update.
Perry - I'm so sorry...I hope you don't have to wait too much longer. Good luck at the RE. ((hugs))
My update - CD22, normally have 30 day cycles. I got a positive opk last Tuesday, so it looks like I'm in the last half of the 2ww. I'm about 50/50 this cycle. We bd for 3 days leading up to the positive opk (sun, mon, tues), but then didn't do anything after that. I would have liked to get at least one more in but it just didn't work out. Hopefully it was enough. And if not, AF better at least show up on time this month!View Thread
Perry, sorry the numbers weren't as high as they would like just yet. When I skipped a cycle last month but kept getting negative hpt, I read probably close to 100 personal accounts of very low or slow rising hcg levels resulting in a perfectly normal pregnancy. So I would say it is still too soon to give up! I'm staying cautiously optimistic for you. ((hugs)) KUPView Thread
That's great about DH's job and you possibly getting a new job! Sorry you haven't had luck getting pregnant, but adoption is a wonderful thing. I'm sure whatever you guys decide to do, you will get your happy family in the end.
My update: Should O this week. Started using the last of my cheap opk, enough to take 2 tests each day for this whole week. We've managed to bd every other day lately, so we'll keep that up and maybe even try to get in a few consecutive days just to be safe. I am really really hoping for a positive opk before Saturday, because we probably won't get a chance to bd this weekend. The calendar says Friday, so fingers crossed!View Thread
I would say go ahead and BD tonight to be safe. Unless DH has low sperm count or something, I think it will be fine. If you got a positive today that means you will usually O within 12-36 hours I think, so you want to bd before that. At least that is how I understand things from the little bit I've read about opk. Good luck!View Thread
