So since it looks like my flow is coming, maybe I will start to get on track again. Thanks for the info! I dont even know if it will happen again for us, with all the trouble we've had.....but we will try!View Thread

I also had a d&c last year after I lost my twins at 23 wks. It was horrible. But we are trying again and we dont know what will happen. I too was afraid that after having that done, would I be able to conceive again? We just started trying in Feb. My last period was Feb 4th & I went off the pill shortly after that. Nothing so far..............
I can understand your feelings because I am in the same boat with you! Good luck!

Ill be 34 this year, so I think time is a lil against me! We are trying, if it happens then great, if not, well I know we tried.

I was wondering how soon can you get pregnant after stopping the pill? I have been through alot in the past year, loosing twins last Feb and having a D&C. Just went off the pill around 2/3 wks ago & due anytime now for my period.I will be 34 this summer & just wondering if my age has anything to do with it. I have 2 older boys but I had them in my 20's with no problems. I had a miscarriage about 5 years ago, got pregnant in Oct '10 & delivered twins at 23 wks. Lost them both, had a D&C & was told I could still get pregnant.
Just nervous & scared. Is it true your really fertile after stopping bc? Or is that a wives tale? I feel "old" with all my body's been through. I am very healthy so I hope it can happen one more time for us!
Thanks ladiesView Thread

My doc told me that you release an egg 14 days after you start your period. ( your full flow, not spotting) So on day 10, 12 & 13 have sex. Sperm can live inside for a lil while....then your egg is released on the 14th day. Its like the sperm is a lil taxi cab waiting for the egg to hitch a ride....then before you know it, a baby is there!
My doc said the sperm should be there waiting for our egg....if you wait till your ovulating its too late, in most cases.
Hope I explained that right! Good luck!View Thread
