Hi there, I think you should really talk to an OB-gyne. If you are infertile you need a medical doctor. Let me also share here with you a site I've been using to track my ovulation period and I hope it could also help you. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread
Hi there, I do not think that you are not going to get pregnant because you had an abortion before. As long as you are healthy and nothing is wrong with you, then you can still conceive. Let me also share here with you a site I've been using to track my ovulation period and I hope it could also help you track yours. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread
Hi there, I think the cause of itching is not using condom. Your vagina got used to condom and now it felt different. Let me also share here with you a site I've been using to track my ovulation period and I hope it could also help you. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread
Hi there, I think you might be pregnant because some women got pregnant after their mirena has been removed. But sometimes your cycle won't be normal asap. So I think you should really wait just for you to be sure on what's going on with your body. Let me also share here with you a site I've been using to track my ovulation period and I hope it could also help you. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread
I had my iud in for 5 years and just got mine removed feb 19th and haven't had any bleeding yet but had some spotting before i had my iud removed and my fiance and I tried the night I had it removed and a couples times since and took a couple ovulation tests and got the result of low fertility and thought I was having some pre pregnancy symptoms took pregnancy test and it was neg and I only use the clear blue. So can it take up to a month to get pregnant after removal?View Thread
Sites and Apps arent accurate as they really only work for those with a super reliable cycle.
It is very important while TTC (as if it isn't nerve wracking enough) to understand the basics.
1. You can get a positive Ovulation test and not ovulate. Your body can gear up to ovulate, resulting in the positive test then something like stress or illness can interveine and mess it up. And if you do not ovulate you will not get a period.
2. Once you get a positive Ovulation test you want to stop testing. You can have a long surge which will result in several days of positives. Keep in mind you will usually ovulate 12-48 hours after your FIRST positive. Hence why they say stop testing,
3. While taking OPK's can be helpful, it is suggested to do other methods of tracking.
Buy a Basal Body Thermometer
Go to Fertilityfriend.com and make an account.
Take your Temp. every morning at the same time before you do ANYTHING. Do Not sit up, Talk, Eat or even move too much.
Record it on fertility friend. You can also track your cervical Mucus along with this. It is another indicator to ovulation.
4. When you have ovulated your temp will drop then it will spike up and stay elevated until you start your period or get a positive test. It is the only real indicator of ovulation. (Use OPKs along with the temping so you know when to have sex)View Thread
Hi, based on what I heard, read with other women's experiences they did not have a hard time conceiving when they did IVF as long as you are provided with the right information and the right doctor. And they also track their ovulation period that helped them. Let me share here with you a site I've been using to track my ovulation period and I hope it could also help you, goo luck. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread
I would try calling your OB/GYN and explain what is going on, but you may want to check a HPT first just in case. They can prescribe Provera to bring your period on. Supposedly it doesn't hurt a fetus if you are pregnant, but why expose the baby to unnecessary medications? Good luck.View Thread
Are you on medication for your thyroid? If not, that could be causing problems TTC. What kind of bc were you on? With Depo-Provera it can take a long time for your fertility to go back to normal. After I got off bc pills, every time I ovulated, I got pregnant. Pregnant 5/2000, mc at 7 weeks in 7/2000, pregnant with DD 8/2000, pregnant with DS 10/2001 while still breastfeeding DD. Also when I had my Mirena IUD out in 2006, the doctor said it could take a couple months to get a period, but I got one after a couple days and took an OPK and had LH Surge, so I went back on bc pills. Have been TTC for 4 months now after being off the pills for about a year and I suspect I have an ovarian cyst. If your cycle is normal now, you might want to take your BBT and maybe use an OPK so you know when you're fertile and can act accordingly. If you don't appear to be ovulating, you could probably try Clomid. Good luck.View Thread
Hi there, it also happened to me. But I just tracked my ovulation and it has helped me conceive because I did it when I was fertile. Let me share the site with you I've been using to track my ovulation and I hope it could also help others, good luck. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread
I am not good with pain. Any kind of pain leads to anxiety attacks for me, which leads to asthma attacks[br>[br>Because of this, when I had my daughter is 2010, I was given both Nubain and an epidural; which I was allowed to use even during pushing. I was also given Zoloft to counteract anxiety.[br>[br>I would like to have another child, however I am afraid because my cousin just had a baby and she was not allowed any pain meds or a C section because of medical issues. What would a obgyn or midwife do in my case if medical reasons wouldn't allow me to have pain meds or a c section?View Thread
I was told by my OBGYN when i got it that i would most likely not have a period. She told me that some woman still get there period while having an IUD in place but some woman dont. I was one that didnt through the whole time of having it in place.
I have had it out for 4 days now and still nothing, and i want to know if i might be ovulating because i really want to try for Baby #2 View Thread
I've known about my pituitary adenoma since I was 17 years old. Me and my husband have been trying to conceive for over a year. I'm kind of getting to a point of giving up. Nothing would make me happier then to become a mother. I'd love to know more about your story and if you were able to conceive and if you have any tips. I'm kind of losing hope and would love to know if I'll ever get a chance to experience that stage in my life. Thanks a bunch.
TTC article with loads of good info, tips and advice
I came across this article a few days ago and I think most women who are trying to conceive will find it useful.
Everything from how to prime your body and lifestyle to increase your likelihood of conception to what to do if you experience trouble while TTC to dietary and lifestyle habits to help you become pregnant and delivery a healthy baby once you do are covered. I would venture to guess that many of the questions asked here in this forum are covered within this article.
I checkout our the author's bio to make sure she is credible. She is. She's a nurse practitioner among whose specialties is OBGYN, with some pretty impressive overall medical credentials, and I would encourage anyone TTC and open to valuable information and tips from an expert to print it out and read over it a couple of times.
I am so confused... this is our first month TTC. My last AF was 12/15 - 12/21. (Usual cycles are 30-32 days) I started taking ovulation tests daily about a week after. Followed test instructions and tried to test early afternoon. Never really got a positive ovulation test except one time in the morning on 12/30. Then had brownish/pink discharge (blood) starting on the 6th. On and off all day. Then the night of the 6th, dark red clot, a little blood but not enough to soak a pad or tampon. Now still have a little brownish/pink discharge. No cramping or any other symptoms. HPT is negative with FMU. So did I have a period? Or was that possibly implantation? If it was AF, it was WAY early and I thought implantation was supposed to be "barely there"? Any advice would be appreciated. Thx!View Thread

I am trying to conceive. Last week I got an inner ear infection and was extremely dizzy. I asked the Dr. to send me medications that were safe in case that I got pregnant. He sent Meclizine 25 mg and Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray. I didn\'t really find that it helped. Actually I last took both on Sunday afternoon (2 days ago) because I found that I was more dizzy. I am now off of the medication. I wanted to know how long it took to clear my body/ system of these medications? After reading about the meds it seems that maybe it\'s not as safe as a thought for a fetus and rather be sure they are gone from my system before continuing to try to conceive. Especially since I'm ovulating now. Thank you in advance.View Thread
