Hi there, it also happened to me. But I just tracked my ovulation and it has helped me conceive because I did it when I was fertile. Let me share the site with you I've been using to track my ovulation and I hope it could also help others, good luck. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread
I am not good with pain. Any kind of pain leads to anxiety attacks for me, which leads to asthma attacks[br>[br>Because of this, when I had my daughter is 2010, I was given both Nubain and an epidural; which I was allowed to use even during pushing. I was also given Zoloft to counteract anxiety.[br>[br>I would like to have another child, however I am afraid because my cousin just had a baby and she was not allowed any pain meds or a C section because of medical issues. What would a obgyn or midwife do in my case if medical reasons wouldn't allow me to have pain meds or a c section?View Thread
From what I have read and have heard you still produce eggs even once your tubes have been tied and he still produces Sperm (because both a vasectomy and tube tying are reversable procedures) so you should not have any issues with IVF. Have you both discussed your choice with your doctor?? Maybe consider asking what the cost and pros and cons would be if you both just had reversals and tried to concieve naturally. It may be more cost efficient.View Thread
Having trouble concieveing?? Next time you are st your doctors office ask for a blood draw to check your vitamin levels. Low amounts of Vitamin D3, B6 and B12 (among others) have been linked with Infertility.View Thread
Hello! I am 25 years old. My SO and I are TTC our first child together (he has an 8 year old daughter from a previous marriage). This will be our 3rd cycle. I currently take Metformin for Insulin resistance. My first cycle TTC I did not ovulate, that is why I was put on the Metformin. It has made a HUGE difference. I ovulated last month and AF came without Provera. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this cycle!!View Thread
Hi there, with what I know of with irregular cycles those women who are like that can conceive faster than those who are in regular cycles. So, do not loose hope. Let me also share here with you a site that I've been using to track my ovulation period and even with irregular cycles can also use this site. I hope this could help and good luck. http://www.ovulation-predictor.org/View Thread

I've known about my pituitary adenoma since I was 17 years old. Me and my husband have been trying to conceive for over a year. I'm kind of getting to a point of giving up. Nothing would make me happier then to become a mother. I'd love to know more about your story and if you were able to conceive and if you have any tips. I'm kind of losing hope and would love to know if I'll ever get a chance to experience that stage in my life. Thanks a bunch.
TTC article with loads of good info, tips and advice
I came across this article a few days ago and I think most women who are trying to conceive will find it useful.
Everything from how to prime your body and lifestyle to increase your likelihood of conception to what to do if you experience trouble while TTC to dietary and lifestyle habits to help you become pregnant and delivery a healthy baby once you do are covered. I would venture to guess that many of the questions asked here in this forum are covered within this article.
I checkout our the author's bio to make sure she is credible. She is. She's a nurse practitioner among whose specialties is OBGYN, with some pretty impressive overall medical credentials, and I would encourage anyone TTC and open to valuable information and tips from an expert to print it out and read over it a couple of times.
I am so confused... this is our first month TTC. My last AF was 12/15 - 12/21. (Usual cycles are 30-32 days) I started taking ovulation tests daily about a week after. Followed test instructions and tried to test early afternoon. Never really got a positive ovulation test except one time in the morning on 12/30. Then had brownish/pink discharge (blood) starting on the 6th. On and off all day. Then the night of the 6th, dark red clot, a little blood but not enough to soak a pad or tampon. Now still have a little brownish/pink discharge. No cramping or any other symptoms. HPT is negative with FMU. So did I have a period? Or was that possibly implantation? If it was AF, it was WAY early and I thought implantation was supposed to be "barely there"? Any advice would be appreciated. Thx!View Thread

I am trying to conceive. Last week I got an inner ear infection and was extremely dizzy. I asked the Dr. to send me medications that were safe in case that I got pregnant. He sent Meclizine 25 mg and Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray. I didn\'t really find that it helped. Actually I last took both on Sunday afternoon (2 days ago) because I found that I was more dizzy. I am now off of the medication. I wanted to know how long it took to clear my body/ system of these medications? After reading about the meds it seems that maybe it\'s not as safe as a thought for a fetus and rather be sure they are gone from my system before continuing to try to conceive. Especially since I'm ovulating now. Thank you in advance.View Thread

You will do great with two. Trust me, I was pregnant with number two, I was terrified and had those same fears. My oldest boy has autism. He was a handful. Then when we got him therapy he turned out to be very loving and sweet. He tells me all the time how much he loves me and loves to have special mommy time with me. That helps a lot. Take 5min to do something just with him. During those 5min praise the heck out of him! Very specific praises. "Good job" is very generic. "I like the way you colored the grass green/ stayed in the lines etc" (coloring) "You are doing a great job waiting for your turn"(playing a game) find something he likes to do that you won't have to criticize him for. If he doesn't play nice with play dough, don't do that. Trust me, special mommy time makes everything easier and keeps your relationship strong. It is amazing what, 5min of praise with you can do. Just make sure you do it every day. Make it a priority. As far as money goes taking care of the new baby, if you do your best, The Lord will provide a way. Good luck! Hope that helps! View Thread
Early this month DH and I were surprised that my normally on time period was late. Got an over the counter test and sure enough two blue lines appeared. We were startled to say the least. We have a two year old and weren't trying. We weren't preventing either. We had to have treatments and over a year of trying to have DD so we didn't think it could just happen.
Initial thoughts were almost shear panic. After a few days, we were able to realign our future views and were beyond excited about this baby. At 6 weeks we lost the baby.
Like I said we hadn't been trying. But the other night we were lying in bed and DH turned to me and was like I know we weren't really trying to have a 2nd already but this has shown me I really want another baby. I fully agree with him. So here we go again. I'm not looking forward to the emotional roller coaster TTC is but I'm praying for a 2nd happy ending.View Thread

a few months after my son was born, I got the mirena. I had it in for 41/2 years. I had no issues with it, I thought it was great. No side effects, didn't have periods, it was great. Then we decided to try to have a baby so I had it removed. For about the first six months after removal, I had irregular periods. I got one every month, just not on a consistent cycle. Then my periods just stopped. I am not ovulating either. I have been using kits and nothing. Went to see my gyno and everything is coming back normal. She put me on the pill to try to induce ovulation and still nothing. We have tried that twice. Still no ovulation. I have two children from a previous marriage and got pregnant right away with both. I have had no issues in the past. We really want to have a little one. We have been trying to concieve for two years now. Has this happened to anyone else?View Thread
