I think we're out for this month. I've been checking CM, and either I missed it or I haven't O'd yet. If it's the second one, it'll be a first. I have NEVER missed a period while not on BC or pregnant.
I found out that I'm slightly anemic when I went to donate blood the other day so I'm wondering if maybe that is causing me problems. I've been really tired and my heart will pound if a exert myself even a little ... both symptoms of anemia. I'm waiting for the results of blood tests to see hopefully what the scoop is and what I need to do to fix it.View Thread
I don't think that's anything to worry about. If you're getting pretty feisty in the sack, it can cause light bleeding like you describe. But if you want an expert opinion, give your doctor a ring. View Thread
Track your cycles! That will help you know when you are most fertile. I have the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility that talks all about it, and I like it a lot. I've never used it, but back in the day when we were TTC our son, loads of ladies were using the site Fertility Friend. There are also tons of other books and sites you can use if neither one of those works for you.
I'd also recommend that you talk to your OB/GYN since you don't have regular periods, and you've been trying for a year.
Calendars work best for people with textbook cycles. They assume you always ovulate right in the middle of you cycle, but that's not true for everyone. So also tracking signs of fertility like cervical mucus and basal body temp can help.
I ovulate late in my cycle - day 16ish in a 27day cycle. That might also be the case for you. And don't forget that your hormones surge AFTER you ovulate.
