My Story:

My name is Ann and my husband and I have been together for 7 years (in July) and have been happily married for 4 (in August) of those. We have just recently decided that we were going to TTC for #1. In August of 2006, I was diagnosed with HPV. I am no longer ashamed to admit that I HAD it. I was diagnosed with a very dangerous strain of the disease and it developed a host of complications. In October 2006, I had to undergo a colposcopy (I think I spelled that right but I'm not sure). They had to go in and freeze off the top layers of my cervix because I had developed precancerous cells. (I was scared stiff). In January 2010, I finally went to the doctor ( I switched OBs) after realizing that I hadn't had a cycle in over 3 years. Yes, that's right. I said YEARS. They did tests and ultrasounds and finally diagnosed me with PCOS. In the midst of that piece of bad news, I was given a breath of fresh air. MY HPV WAS GONE!!!!!!!! Just up and disappeared on it's own! I hope that the lovely ladies of the discussions can help us concieve our first child (LMAO). Have a great day!!!!!
