I just typed a reply about the size of Counterso's last post, and accidentally deleted it. Sucks, as I thought it one of my better posts. I also believe Chronic pelvic pain syndrome (non-bacterial prostatitis) causes or makes the lymph congestion more chronic, as there have been a few people here with both and I've noticed others on other sites. I would stay away from pressing on your abdomen searching for trigger points as that was what started things getting much worse for me. I beleive I mistook a lymph node for a trigger point and worked it hard. Things got worse. Stretching my abdomen makes things worse. Even like 4 months ago I didn't like stretching my arms over my head or sleeping like that as the stretch on my abs made the pain worse.
I would personally put this as the worst health problem next to CPPS and fibromyalgia any day. the latter two do not have inflammation and tissue destruction as a cause. the lymph problem does. obviously if someone has INFECTIOUS prostatitis (which most don't), then obviously that is very serious.View Thread
I agree I wish people would come back and report when they get better, it's little to ask.... The cream doesn't make the symptoms get better immediately for short periods. It allows the body to heal itself quicker in the longterm. But I use it on the diffuse hard swelling I have, not on the lymph channel.
I'm pretty sure my dick got so inflamed the skin started peeling. That is the most probable case. My skin over this situation looks absolutely fine now. It used to be somewhat red but not any more. Is your injured spot swollen at all, or just red?View Thread
yeah, it's complicated ( another reason Docs won't listen) I have lymphangitis or lymphocele, it's clear as day when it gets flared up, classically situated just under the glans..but it isn't exactly painful, its somewhat tender. I also have what has to be either an inflamed lymph channel/ or thrombosed vein.....or inflamed dorsal artery, I say this because the thing has a very noticeable pulse, you can see it and feel it, I have video of it pulsing on my phone......Counterso said it could be transferred motion but I don't think so, this thing pulses very noticeably....from where it starts at the base (inside the body) all the way to the head where it curls to the side into where the lymphangitis is. On top of that there was a VERY small tender spot/lump about 3 quarters of the way up the shaft right in line with the inflamed channel/chord......it is this thing that caused my EXTREME misery. As I pressed on it not gently and held pressure a couple times for a minute or so, and it got smushed and went flat. after that about half the topside of my dick got swollen around where that bump was. After that the lymphangitis ballooned and got worse and the hard chord got way worse as well, its odd as they all seem like if one gets bad the other 2 problems do too.
I cannot possible describe how extreme the inflammation was. How tender that spot was, and how crippled and in pain my dick was, and still is to an extent. Counterso once said people in situations like this may exagerate, But not in my case, I was sticking my dick in ice water for like a month to make it less hot. Skin on my penis was peeling off. It looked RED. But if I showed a doctor you couldn't really see anything. The swelling kinda blends in, but the tissue was hard. It's truly an insane situation, for the rest of my life thinking of those first few months will send chills down my spine. Horrific. Orgasms still hurt quite a bit, erections still hurt. If I have either the situation gets worse. If I have any blood in my dick, just kegeling hurts. It's a painful pressure feeling.
I can't do anything physical at all, or else the situation will get worse. I don't even want to have an ultrasound done because I don't want anything touching my dick and I definitely don't want vasodilator drugs pumped in me. I see that as a recipe for disaster. because my erections are facked already, and hurt.
It's quite frustrating when you chronically cannot get aroused or you will feel pain........................ I just wanna say this is the only place I EVER complain about my situation. I figure 99% of people that ever lived have had pretty horrible lives, why should I be lucky.
Also, the steroid cream absolutely works. NO DOUBT. It's obviously backed up by loads of science, IT IS FIRST LINE DEFENSE FOR SKIN INFLAMMATION. YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST GET SOME. I would be way back if I didn't use it, and if I had it from the start I have no doubt I would have chopped the time it's taken me to get this far at least in half.View Thread
1 year, I don't even touch the injured spot to wash it.....lol...no goddamn way. I wouldn't compare your situation to mine, I'm in a whole other ballpark of shlt....(not to downplay your problem) And the real injured painful spot on me isn't the sclerosing lymphangitis, which is the least of my problems. My real bad problem is injured/inflamed skin or fascia, or whatever just under the skin, which is quite hard to see under the best conditions. It's semi-attached to the skin.
I think my sclerosing lymphangitis just sticks around because there is injury/inflammation in the area that doesn't heal.
I gotta head to the states and keep going to doctors until I find one that 1. will listen.... 2. is willing to slice and dice me up. I'm quite confident that my problems could be pretty easily remedied with surgery. My problem is I have so little faith that I could find someone skilled that will help that I just do nothing and hope things get better.
IN answer to your question gratuit, my situation slowly gets better over a long period of time, but who knows if it will continue.View Thread
Thatguy, Gotta be thankful for the more hopeful days.
I just have to mention this, even though it's pretty wacked. While looking for "penile injuries" or whatever in google, I found this group on people.tribes.net.......if you wanna see some extremely strange stuff, put that into google with "penis" or whatever and you get this group of clearly very unstable people into extreme body modification. By that I mean they cut their dicks off, cut the glans off, cut holes in their urethras, cut the glans in half.......etc....with pictures..... The reason I mention this is these people who are doing this, don't seem to have any residual pain, after cutting their dick heads off and stuff, in contrast to us with no actual true tissue destruction. I ponder this, with envy. I have a bit of disdain for these people as I REALLY need my dick back and here these weirdo's are cutting theirs off and having a great time doing it. Anyway keep it together dude imagine how good it will feel if this nightmare ends. And you were asking Counterso about cream, I would still be trying to get a steroid cream, I have been using it for about 3 months now, hasn't done anything negative to my skin yet. My GP gave it to me without batting an eyelid, when I told him it helped. Peace.View Thread
Ultrasound is THE METHOD of diagnosing penile vein thrombosis (mondor's disease).....virtually every study on google you find, that is the case. If your doctor gives you problems, print out some of those studies. So I think having the ultrasound is a good way of knowing if it is thrombosis or a lymph problem (the latter I beleive, but not certain, wouldn't show up)......... I believe the differential diagnosis between those two and also peyronies is why they use ultrasound in the first place.
1 year update......(since I made a chronic problem exponentially worse) Dick still fvcked, EXTREMELY depressed, not sure what to do as the swelling/inflammation is there but visibly very minimal, and since this seems to be different than anything that has happened to any other human being, I CANT GET A DOCTOR TO BELIEVE ME. I can barely function whatsoever. People think I'm going nuts. I can't live without this problem resolving.....
HOW DOES THE TISSUE NOT HEAL ITSELF? HOW DOES INFLAMMATION STICK AROUND LIKE THIS?
All I ever see is people recovering from this stuff, all over the internet. It's ridiculous. How many people on this thread have come and gone. Many not even heeding the advice given. I've seen people develop erection problems from jelqing or whatever, but I've never (other than thatguy) seen anyone have pain/inflammation/swelling over long periods of time.
All I do is just search the internet hoping to find something, but I never do.......The worst part is knowing if I didn't mess with it, there is possibly a good chance it would have gotten better, and now a year after doing that it is still way worse, and a more complicated situation.
I have what is likely the same as you, the hard tender chord that goes the entire length of penis, beside dorsal vein. And also have a strange feeling which can be somewhat painful when loosing an erection. I beleive since the chord is inflamed when it is being stretched (tugged) by erection or compressed it can cause that sensation, unlike if it were un-inflamed and elastic.
I am not even 100% sure in MY case whether the hard chord is lymphangitis or thrombosis (Mondor's)....... unfortunately there aren't many pictures of penile thrombosis, and MOST of them labelled as such are actually lymphangitis. Somehow even the literature gets these mixed up.
Please keep us updated if the situation changes for BETTER OR WORSE.View Thread
