1. Stop whackin off, if you've had a weird lump or vein on your dick for years, it definitely is not CPPS or anything to do with your prostate, and possibly could be an infection but more than likely is not, more likely it is along the lines of what is discussed here. You have nothing to lose if you stop jerkin off, and possibly everything to lose if you continue. Guess how I know. I am the poster boy for what you don't want to be.
2. Follow what it says in "headache in the pelvis'. If there is one thing for sure, it's that if you have trigger points in the pelvic region causing pain. Antibiotics, Quercetin and Meditiation are not going to cure them. The only thing that will cure CPPS on it's own is myofascial release, and for that you're going to have to bite the bullet and throw on a glove lube up a finger and jam it in your ass and look for trigger points. For those with intrapelvic trigger points it is an absolute blessing to be able to get such relief from something that most people really wouldn't want to do. How bad do you want relief? This is the only cure, I can attest to it curing me..... singlehandedly. Damn, I'm a funny guy.
Either way you definitely have more than one thing going on......and it can't all be infection. If I know one thing. It is you don't want to waste any time on health problems, so you have to attack this on multiple fronts.View Thread
I don't really want to put my email address on here, if you want to that's fine. Though you will be shooting yourself in the foot if you don't join the chronicprostatitis.com forum, where you will find a ton more help than I can offer from the community. I have already pretty much said most of what I think is important in a prior post. As well, I would rather focus on current problems rather than pelvic pain which is not a problem for me anymore. I would take the worst CPPS has to offer over this dick injury any day. It's empowering knowing you can at least fix CPPS.View Thread
Counterso, Is it possible to have a chronic infection under the skin for a very long time like cellulitis. I have been reading that cellulitis can occur where there are no breaks in the skin and situations where lymphatic drainage is compromised can also cause it. When this originally got real bad my dick was definitely red, warm and swollen.... quite like these examples:
the swollen lymph channel under the head is always a bit red. There is just no other explanation of how chronic inflammation could go on this long without infection being the cause IMO. But at the same time, wouldn't it get worse if it were an infection, not slowly better and better over almost a year.
And what's exciting is we can have some drawn out dialogue about this as my urologist appointment probably won't be for months. Though I may be in a psyche ward before then.
Thanks benh, I appreciate it, ask anything you want.... You wouldn't be the first that originally had a prostate infection that after cured morphed into non-bacterial CPPS. There are definitely guys that have been in that situation on the chronicprostatitis.com forum. I haven't been on there in a while. I guess the thing to do would be to get a "broth culture" and at the same time I would buy the book "headache in the pelvis" and learn, and join the above mentioned web forum. In no way am I saying you don't have an infection but keep an open mind that this may be a muscle/stress/nerve problem, that may have been brought on by the infection you had, which I know sounds strange but you wouldn't be the first. Though by all means pursue the infectious cause as well.View Thread
Went to my GP today, like Counterso says, he didn't know much about this stuff, he'd never heard of Sclerosing Lymphangitis. But he did listen and when I told him the steroid cream really worked he wrote a script for more of the same stuff I was using and referred me to a Uro, so I guess it went as good as could be hoped. And he did inspect it and said he could feel a lump, which is the swelling where I made things really bad. So a small victory for having a doctor acknowledge there really is something there.
Another point to be made is that the swelling which used to be hard has now became completely soft and I can press on it without it hurting at all now.View Thread
Deep vein thrombosis such as in the legs and penile mondor's disease (thrombosis) which occurs in the superficial dorsal vein are much different animals, the former can be very dangerous, the latter not so much. I have read about this about a year ago when that is what I thought I had and I beleive it has to do with what those veins feed into that makes it dangerous or not. But don't quote me.View Thread
I also believed for years that the symptoms that turned out to be a penile injury(?) were caused by the CPPS. If you have a lump or anything on your penile shaft, it is nothing to do with your prostate, period. I'm just echoing what Counterso told you. And your doctor told you it was trauma, which is most likely the case. Which means you have to deal with that, first thing is not touching your dick till whatever it is goes away, hopefully.
Like me, you also have some sort of prostate/pelvic pain issue going on. Unless you really have an infection, which is probably not the case, the best place to learn about treatment options is the site I linked in my last post. Mainly they are: Trigger point therapy/ Meditation, stress reduction/ Quercetin
The book headache in the pelvis by David Wise is a good place to start, will explain how to do manual therapy on yourself, learning to do it effectively takes a long time (I tought and cured myself) though it is better to go to a physical therapist that will teach you, its just faster. Also for some people including myself food intolerance really comes into play here, Gluten and Milk massively screwed me up (one more than the other, I think milk) And didn't just give me CPPS but gave me painful aching muscles throughout my whole body and made it impossible to workout and physical labour wasn't fun. I cured all that with diet changes. I think curing CPPS without those changes would have been impossible for me. Read the main page of that site, and join the forum, it costs $20 bucks but is well worth it. good luck.View Thread
I'm kind of leaning towards infection now.....that this has not gotten better, and is generally staying in a state that could be cellulitis. When I really injured myself 10 months ago (sigh)....my entire penis became red, tender, hot and somewhat swollen. That is the main symptoms of cellulitis. If a very superficial tissue injury stays in a very inflamed state, obviously something is going on. And having stagnant lymph is a cause of cellulitis also. I'll try to get some antibiotics. If that doesn't work. I have to find someone to operate on me. Which will prove extremely hard. But I gotta get this fixed soon cuz this is it for my sanity.View Thread
I'm really glad it's getting better, I wouldn't masturbate though. Use that cream as long as you want.
As for myself. I can't touch my dick let alone masturbate. I was just pressing lightly on the bad spot today to see how it felt, it didn't hurt and better than ever really, but my dick is in worse shape now, after I did that. It feels weird semi hurts to have erections and they are weird. My dick and my life are destroyed. I need surgery. But there is no way a doctor will listen to me, let alone operate. Or if that will even work, or make things worse or what..... I have an appointment with my GP in a couple weeks, but that doesn't mean anything really. I can't stand another 60 seconds of this let alone what's obviously in front of me. Even when my symptoms were 10 times worse, I had hope that it would get better. But I have no more. The steroid helps, but not enough to cure me, I need this tissue out of me. This is an absolute horror nightmare. Sorry for being a downer but I doubt I will ever in the future get laid, be in any relationships or even get a load off ever again, watching porn isn't even comfortable. And it's made to comfort losers like me, however you found yourself in that position..... Thatguy, make sure you don't find yourself in my position and stop whackin' it till it's TOTALLY BETTER. Peace.View Thread
