Helo everyone, I have finally decided to seek help online. Please excuse the length of this post.
So this has all started about a year ago with no real reason of happening. I am a 20 year old college basebll player in good shape and healthy according to the doctors. With in the frist two months of I'll call my problem I started to develop bad chest pians when going to sleep and having a rapid heartbeat and night sweats. I decided to seek a doctor for this occurence and he said it was acid reflux and prescribed an over the counter anti-acid medicine. this did not work and the night sweats became worse with palpatations. The doctor then did a series of heart related test from EKG, to a heart monitor, and a ulra sound of the heart. Everything came back fine which was a relief but the symptoms remained.
After another month of this i returned home after the season and things came worse with having chest pain all day and have muscle twitches and head aches along with that. Also, at night I would feel a burning in my chest when tryng to sleep. A local doctor at home thought i was suffering from anxiety and tried giving some medicine for that which has made it worse. Other symptoms that developed were tingling in my hands and feet and in my chest freqauently.
I returned to school now on the 7 month still having the same symptoms. So i had more tests done to check for liver and lyme diesease related problems and those test came back good as well. Also, and continues now I have muscle twitches in my eye, legs, arms, and side of my head that occur everyday. Yet none of this affects my performance on the baeballl field it is EXTREMELy annoying and makes it had to concentrate on anythng. Also, started to develop what they call depersonalization although not diagnosed i feel that is what i was going throught yet I have been taking St.John's Wort which seems to be helping this problems.
So where I am at today is having muscle twitches all over my body and occasional chest pains.
I guess what I am seeking is just an answer to what this is, as i am frustrated that doctors cannnot pinpoint the problem.
If you could pleae give any comments it would be greatly appreciated thank you!View Thread
