I do not think that it is acceptable that your OBGYN has changed your course of treatment without seeing you first. I think that you should push for a visit and for her to examine you before making any assumptions about the cause of your bleeding. If you don't agree with her diagnosis then you have every right to challenge it and to seek a second opinion.
Here is some information about abnormal vaginal bleeding

Your post broke my heart. I'm so sorry that you and your husband are having such a hard time conceiving. Then to be told that even if you DO get pregnant then the baby won't survive is unimaginable. I truly wish that I could give you a hug through the screen.
I know that this is a very hard time for you. Have you considered adoption? If you are considering adoption, WebMD has a lot of online resources/information for you that I would be happy to provide to you.

These are great questions for your doctor or the surgeon performing the surgery. He/she would know best about which conditions are best to perform that particular surgery and which would yield the most valuable results.

It seems like you've been through a lot from the struggle of you trying to conceive to the dissolution of your marriage. It also seems like you are on the right track by consulting your doctor. I'm glad that your doctor determined that nothing was unusual about your test, but I still understand the frustration of not receiving any definitive answers about what is actually causing this.

The journey of trying to conceive with the assistance of fertility treatments can be an emotional rollercoaster, which can include beautiful ups and devastating downs.
However, it seems as though goods news is on the horizon for women trying to conceive after having received fertility treatments -even after they've stopped the treatments.

I'm 43, my partner is 31. Unfortunately, he just came off of a cycle of anabolic steroids. It's been about 5 or 6 weeks since he stopped. My FSH is 7.1, Estradiol 61 and TSH 3.43 which I started medication for TSH to reduce it between 1-2 a couple of months ago. I have a regular cycle. My tubes and ovaries are fine. Had tests and ultrasound done to check all of this.
How do I increase my chances or what am I doing wrong?View Thread

What the doctor didnt tell me was that it takes a week for them to work and me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex 3 days after starting them.
Long story short, My period never came within the 3 day time period after stopping them. on the second day after stopping the first 21 pill cycle i took a plan B pill because our condom broke.
I took a pregnancy text (5 day fast acting) before I took plan B the second day and it showed a strong line for not pregnant.
Has anyone not got their period after taking the 21 day cycle their first time like they were supposed to?
I know plan B can affect period cycles for some girls, would it make a period not come same day or next day after taking it if thats when it was scheduled to come?View Thread

I am not necessarily TTC I just have a question until I hear back from my reproductive endocrinologist who is helping me determine how far away from menopause I am. She sent me for a pelvic ultrasound because I was having clotty periods. Lo and behold they found a uterine polyp. The ultrasound tech also remarked several times on how good my ovaries looked. Is that a good indicator that my ovarian reserve is good? I am scheduled to go for FSH and estradiol level testing once I get my period next week. I am in a little bit of shock here lol I'm 46 years old and thought my ovaries would not be in that great of shape fertility wise.View Thread

I had some spotting one time a few weeks ago when I went to the bathroom, I have thought my period was coming with cramps and back pain every now and then but still nothing. I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative. Is there a chance I could still be pregnant? Or maybe I just didn't ovulate last month?
I am 21 years old. Married for almost 3 years and my mother had PCOS. We can't get into a fertility doc until we have been TTC for a year. The wait is a killer..
