I have a mild osteoarthritis in right knee and tendinitis in left shoulder and sometimes right shoulder in 2015 until now. I take pills - Naproxen and Tylenol Arthritis to reduce pain and flare-up but not help at all. I received 3 shots of corticosteriods for right knee and both shoulders in April 2016. I was in pain-free for while but my left shoulder pain is back. I was upset, frustrated and cry because of painful!! I am having hard time to cope with arthritis and pain. I don'know what to do...Do you have any tips (such as how to cope, pain management or others)?View Thread

This seems to be increasing as I age and it impacts significantly on my ability to work efficiently.

Thank youView Thread

I am 25 year old IT engineer facing knee pain along with other spine problems. I have been diagnosis as cervical spondelyosis around 8 month back so i was taking physio therapy session since then. During those session i was getting some pain in my right leg knee which i ignored as i have bigger problem to be taken care of. Over the time it increased and since 2 month i am feeling pain while exercising for cervical and when i walk (sometime unbearable ) so I started physio therapy for that too but not getting satisfactory results. I am very dishearten as suffering from neck , left hand pain with lower back pain and that extra pain has added. Could someone please advise me for making it better? I still want to run , jog , play (hopefully will do )View Thread

I have arthritis real bad in my hands, (along with other areas),. I used to quilt and crochet. I can't crochet anymore because of the twisting and turning my wrists and hands have to do. Can anyone think of other crafts for people with arthritic hands?
Thank you. I appreciate any ideas.View Thread

Last month it was my middle finger on the right hand, today it's the left hand one to last finger tendon that seem to have snapped just while pushing on the shower door to close it(pushing). Seemingly very little force was exerted and something, i assume a tendon, in my palm "snapped" with a painful feeling.
The first time this happened it took a couple of weeks to go away.
Now that it happened again on a second finger I am starting to worry.
Does anyone have an idea what this can be and what to do to prevent it. I am 54 and generally in good health.
Thank you so much, I appreciate your time
Best Regards

taking celebrate 200mg twice a day; doesn't help very much. tried prednisone 50mg for 2 weeks. no difference.
Also the atlanto axial inflammation is causing symptoms of (secondary) cluster headache; sumatriptan helps with headache; however no effect on involuntary eye shutting and severe neck pain.
is anyone familiar with the problem?View Thread

Yesterday I had trigger finger release surgery on three fingers on my left hand and I am looking for some information:
Since the freezing wore off I have been experiencing a great deal of pain. I am very swollen up to the second knuckle and unable to fully close my fingers, nor am I able to extend them fully; they remain bent. Trying to extend them hurts much more than trying to close them, but both actions are extremely painful. The pain is at the point of incision and runs al the way up to the middle knuckle on each finger, and is most painful at the middle knuckle.
I was not given any pain medication so maybe this is normal?
Is this normal? It has been about 20 hours since the surgery.
Should I be trying to close and extend my fingers this soon after surgery? Should I be working them out or allowing them to rest?
When should I start exercising them?
Any information would be most helpful, I am very worried.
Thank you to all,
