The message is - keep moving. All exercise helps and it appears that "low intensity" exercise is just as effective as higher intensity exercises. You can forget the old mantra- no pain, no gain. Start a regular exercise program at home or in a group and keep it up.View Thread

Local Stroke Support Groups can be invaluable in answering the questions that we cannot answer. The American Heart Association has a user friendly support group finder. I tried it for our area and it came up with 5 support groups. Here is the link. http://www.strokeassociation.org/STROKEORG/strokegroup/public/zipFinder.jsp Give it a try and more importantly give the support group a try.View Thread

But If you're finding how discussions and responses are displayed now is a bit confusing, are wondering how to keep track, and would like a more traditional view of an exchange, you can do that!
When you come to an exchange, click on the Discussions link on the upper left sidebar and voila!
(You can do the same if you want to just look at tips or resources.)
To go back to the view you get when you first come in to an exchange, just click on the Exchange Home link on the upper left sidebar.View Thread
